Software Configuration Management Patterns

Effective Teamwork, Practical Integration
by Stephen Berczuk with Brad Appleton
Addison-Westley, Software Patterns Series, 2002

I am not impressed. I found almost nothing new or convincing there. It conforts me in my disappointment for software patterns. Patterns are too simple a way to present complex information. They work as long as the whole set is consistent, i.e. there are no disagreements, or contexts in which different solutions would apply.
For example, in the context of ClearCase, I believe nightly builds are a poor idea.

Many useful links.
